I have been here since 25th May, longer thn I had planned. The food variety is great and I am making up for Indonesia.

First night in a dorm due to lack of single rooms, about 2.30 a.m one room-mate turns up and puts the lights on and starts talking to this other guy who has lost his wallet and has been in trouble. i let this go on for a bit but intervene when the first guy starts giving the secong travel advice in Lao! have to remind them this is a dorm and it is rather late.

Have changed guesthouses twice since then. Have been disinterested in tourist activities here and Getting lots of rest, have also met and spoken to various young female travellers. It is refreshing to talk to people of similar interests, despite their age the ones that I seem to mix with have quite mature and are not air-heads as they would be in the West.
